This semester, I’m spending my exchange at NTNU – the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim. It’s been an incredibly inspiring experience so far — both academically and culturally.
I’m currently taking courses in:
Ethical Hacking – diving into network security, penetration testing, and learning how to think like an attacker to build safer systems.
Model-Driven Software Engineering – exploring how abstract models can drive software design and automate implementation.
Introduction to Artificial Intelligence – studying the foundations of AI, for instance search algorithms to create AI algorithms to solve problems like sodukus.
Very Large Distributed Data Volumes – learning how massive data systems are designed and scaled across distributed infrastructures.
Studying here has been an amazing opportunity to experience a different academic culture and work closely with students from all over the world. The hands-on approach, combined with the natural beauty and innovation-driven spirit of Norway, makes every day exciting.
I also got the chance to go on a trip to the Lofoten Islands — the breathtaking landscapes, fjords, and northern lights were unforgettable. Exploring Norway outside the university has added an incredible dimension to this experience.
Overall, studying here has been a mix of challenging coursework, amazing people, and unforgettable adventures. I’m excited to apply what I’m learning to future projects and continue exploring the world along the way. 🇳🇴✨
